The National Science Foundation is funding two REU (Research Experience for Undergraduates) positions at Hubbard Brook this summer as part of the Long Term Ecological Research program (see the HBRF webpage for details or our opportunities webpage) ($5000 stipend for the summer + living expenses). One of the those positions is with our Hydropedology project and is focused on subsurface water movement through forested hillslopes. If you are interested in applying for this position, please follow the application procedures described on the HBRF webpage. Also, feel free to contact Dr. Kevin McGuire if you have questions about the research program.
