Ok, so the article is mostly about the impact Dansgaard has had on understanding past climate, but those of us that use stable water isotopes in hydrology also owe much to the work of Dansgaard and his observations made from his beer bottle collectors on amount and temperature effects of precipitation isotopic composition.
