Applications for the Hubbard Brook Research Experience for Undergraduates (REU) Program are due by February 6 – that’s just 3 weeks away!  We are seeking a student to work on a hillslope hydrology project looking at how water travels through soils on its way to streams in forested ecosystems.  See our post from Dec. 11th on this position and our project page.   More information on the Hubbard Brook Experimental Forest is available here.

There are 8 total REU positions available in the program that focus on different topics in ecosystem studies, e.g., forest vegetation and carbon, biogeochemistry, and socioeconomics/ecosystem services. For more information, please go to the REU program website – http://www.hubbardbrookreu.org.
